Run
msconfig (press enter)
Select the Services tab
Check mark "Hide all Microsoft" (critical)
Select "disable all" (keep checkmarked antivirus -I use avg free)
Select the "Startup tab"
Select "Disable all" (keep checkmarked antivirus)
select ok, and restart.
Speed up your system 10 times as fast as it is now by using a SSD not a HDD.
Most all computer have a motor HDD, SDD has no moving parts, resulting in a ten times plus speed.
Buy a SSD (Amazon, local supplier)
Run AOMEI free
Select Clone Disk
(Source is your c drive disk)
Destination is your new drive (Use the current CD rom Port or use a SATA to USB adapter.
Then switch drives!
